The Value of BWW Membership

Becoming an BWW member is a great way to ensure that your company remains competitive in the marketplace and up to date on the critical issues facing the bottled water industry. As the authoritative voice of the entire U.S. bottled water industry, BWW focuses all of its efforts on meeting the needs of the companies who produce or distribute bottled water, or who supply products or services to this rapidly growing industry.

BWW is a valuable resource to its members, providing them with the tools and information they need to be successful in the bottled water industry. We have tailored a full menu of members-only benefits in response to the opportunities and challenges faced by our member companies.

Our Bottler and Distributor members benefit from the technical, regulatory, public relations and legislative support we provide through our lobbying activities, publications, web site, seminars and staff. Supplier members receive access to the services mentioned above, and also benefit from having direct access to potential clients through members-only promotional opportunities in the BWW Roster, Bottled Water Reporter Buyers’ Guide, and the BWW web site. In addition, BWW membership grants suppliers access to discounted registration and exhibitor rates for our annual trade show and convention – the premier meeting for the bottled water industry and a great way for members to reach new clients, make sales, and acquire state-of-the-art education.

BWW currently has several membership types, each with distinct requirements and annual dues structures:

Bottler
BWW Bottler Members are companies that bottle or package water for sale within the United States (whether or not the plant is located in the United States) and that meet BWW Code of Practice standards which is verified by annual, unannounced plant inspections.

Supplier
BWW Supplier Members are companies engaged in the rental or sale of equipment, products, supplies or services to the bottled water industry.

Candidate Bottler Program
BWW Candidate Bottlers are companies that bottle or package water within the United States and who are not yet prepared to submit to the annual inspection required for BWW Bottler Members. The purpose of this program is to assist Candidate Bottlers in achieving compliance with all FDA and BWW Bottler Member inspection requirements.
